Venues for groups and meetings

The centre has two large halls with kitchens
In addition they are wheelchair accessible
These are available for inexpensive hire on a casual or permanent basis

Community Bus

A 14 seat bus - driven by our volunteer bus drivers
is available at low cost to agencies and groups

Justice of the Peace

Every Tuesday from 10am - 11am a local Justice of the Peace
will be available at the Neighbourhood Centre
for anyone who requires their services
No appointment is necessary
This is a new facility commencing November 10th
Depending on demand this may increase in hours and/or days
of availability in the new year



Counselling Room



A small room is available for counselling sessions

Pottery Studio

 

The Pottery studio is well equipped with
wheels, slab roller and two kilns
Currently two groups use the facility
You are welcome to join either of these groups
Wednesday "Western Suburbs Clay Workers"

Thrift Shop

Thrift Shop - staffed by volunteers

The Thrift Shop is open Monday - Thursday from
9am til noon and is staffed by volunteers
The funds raised from the thrift shop go to the
support of homeless people 
It is situated at the Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre
and most items are sold for no more than $2 each
Donations of items to sell are most appreciated and these can be left at the centre during opening hours
